Abstract Photos - Escape

That feeling of pushing ever onward, something behind, never far.

Each of these abstract photographs uses a long exposure technique where I walk or drive with the camera. Some can be short, just a few seconds while others (like Into The Forest) are as long as 20 minutes. I wanted to capture the texture of an escape dream but with a twist. While they're all dark, I feel they're more mysterious than scary. My escape dreams often balance between terror and mystery. What's behind? Where do I go? What am I entering? Some of these prints can be paired, but mostly they function individually as fine art abstract photo prints. With a broad color range to choose from they can work with various decor and design ideas.
